Mazandaran’s textile workers, in protest to not receiving 26 months’ wage, staged a rally in front of the regime’s governance in Ghaemshahr (northern Iran), reported Iran’s ILNA news agency.
“By not receiving 26 months’ wage, the workers are in tough conditions”, said a worker who took part in Sunday’s rally. “The Mazandaran’s textile workers’ problems will not be resolved through repeated meetings and threats and pressures by officials … currently, these workers are incapable of paying their water, electricity and phone bills; their mortgage and costs for their children’s education”, the worker added.
