Iran Cyber police has sent a message to the director of the “Mola Reza Abdi Supporters Campaign” in Telegram demanding he take action to eliminate his channel. The Cyber police threatened the director of this channel he will face measures if he refuses to do so.
Sometime ago Mola Reza Abdi, the Friday prayer imam of a Sunni mosque in the town of Islamabad near Urumieh, northwest Iran, was set aside from his post under orders issued by government institutions. Such a measure raised protests and dissent amongst Islamabad locals in Urumieh.
State-supported individuals and government institution authorities are interfering in the affairs of this Sunni mosque in Urumieh.
