“The Iranian regime’s military interference, victimizing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis during the past years, could not have expanded without its own political coverage,” Iraqi Parliament Human Rights Commission spokesman and Iraqiya Coalition spokesman Heidar al-Mulla said. “Why doesn’t the commander-in-chief even dare to clearly take a stance on aggressions against Iraqi sovereignty?”
Al-Mulla called on the Iraqi people and Arab countries to “be aware of the Iranian regime’s threats and its consequences throughout the region.” He accused “Iraqi political parties of providing the necessary cover for Khamenei’s influence in Iraq during the past years.”
