Tehran: Sharif University students chant ’we don’t accept contempt, even if we have to die’

Eyewitness report from Tehran indicate that today Dec. 7, the National Day of Students in Iran, groups of students who had participated the speech by the president marking this day, started to chant anti-government slogans. They also chanted ’students don’t accept contempt, even if they have to die.’
Outside the auditorium where president Rouhani was speaking, another group of students who were barred from attending the speech protested while demanding the freedom of political prisoners.
This was while the regime had taken extreme security measures by both stationing riot guards and plain cloths agents in and around the campus and on the other hand vetted all those who were allowed to talk part in the speech.
