Tehran seeks to increase Iraq meddling through Badr insurgents

The Iranian regime is seeking to increase its meddling in Iraq through Badr insurgents under the command of Hadi al-Ameri, the current Minister of Transportation in Nouri Maliki’s cabinet, al-Rafidain TV reported.
After the announcement of the Badr insurgents separating from the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq, the scope of the Iranian regime’s interference in Iraqi soil and Tehran’s efforts to impose hegemony over Iraq have been revealed more than ever before, this source added.
Informed sources revealed Badr insurgents under the command of the Hadi al-Ameri, through direct Iranian regime support, are attempting to gather forces to become a strong and active force associated to the Iranian regime in Iraq. These sources continued by saying the overall plan that is to be executed by the Badr insurgents is based on Iranian regime directions consisting of measures in various cities and provinces across Iraq. These efforts are to be focused on establishing so-called cultural centers with the purpose of recruiting forces and sending them to Iran for training.
