Tehran, Iran: More than 3000 teachers demonstrate in front of the Parliament

The number of teachers who have gathered so far until 1045 local time Thursday, May 7, 2015 to take part in the demonstration in front of Majlis (Parliament) has reached 3000 mark. The crowd has been gathering despite a climate of intimidation and repression by the Suppressive State Security forces stationed around the parliament preventing teachers from congregating.
Based on reports accumulated and confirmed from inside Iran, teachers are carrying posters and placards which reads:
“We shout fearlessly, Oh God! save us from this tyranny”, “imprisoned teacher, Rasoul Bodaghi must be freed”, “teachers are aware of injustice and discrimination”, “free education and equal rights for all children”, “stop privatizing schools making them in to commercial goods”.
