Based on reports received from inside Iran, last week over 260 inmates were added to Tehran’s Ghezel Hessar Prison. While each ward in this prison has the capacity of only 400 inmates, there are 1,500 inmates in each ward at this time. Due to lack of space, the prisoners’ well-being is in serious danger and most of them are suffering from various illnesses.
