Mostafa Daneshjo, a political prisoner currently incarcerated in the notorious Evin Prison was transferred to the Evin Clinic fallowing a heart attack. The physician has determined that he must be admitted urgently to a better facility hospital outside the prison, but the authorities have denied transferring him to hospital under the pretext of coordination with attorney general. The regime’s henchmen are not providing health care to this political prisoner making his condition to deteriorate further.
He was hospitalized on Wednesday Jan. 21st but no final treatment was provided and without doctors’ permission, he was returned to his prison cell.
He is currently captive in ward No. 8 of the Evin Prison. This ward holds 200 prisoners and lacks proper ventilation and windows. Mostafa Daneshjo is accused of supporting Gonabadi’ Dervishes.
