By admitting to the Iranian regime’s failure in holding a conference on Syria, the state affiliated Tabnak website wrote that three foreign ministers participated in this conference, none of whom having the slightest role in the Syria crisis.
The website affiliated to the head of the State Exigency Council wrote: “Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a day before this meeting, had recalled it as a ‘meeting of foreign ministers’. Nonetheless, among the 27 countries, only three countries – Iraq, Pakistan and Zimbabwe – participated at a foreign minister level, none of which to this date have had the slightest role in Syria’s transitions.”
“Moreover, Lebanon, Syria’s neighboring country, despite hosting Supreme National Security Council chief Saeed Jalili a couple of days ago, and although receiving an official invitation, had announced that it will not take part in the Tehran conference”, Tabnak added.
