Tehran and 35 cities including Shiraz, Ahwaz, Kermanshah, Sari, Islam-Abad and Babol (northern Iran) and others are joining the nationwide teachers’ rally.
This protest was called for in advance by the Teachers’ Association to rally in front of the Parliament in the capital and Education ministry buildings in other cities. The numbers of participants in these demonstrations are increasing by hour and more and more cities are heeding the Teachers’ Association call.
