Tehran air conditions reported red

Tehran saw its air conditions reported as status red on Monday, December 14th due to the increasing density of polluted particles. The density of suspended particles in Tehran was reported as 2.5 microns, which is 7 times higher than World Health Organization standards.
“Today’s air quality index was at 162 and Tehran’s air conditions reached status red. Breathing in such conditions is considered inadequate for all people,” a regime official in the Air Quality Control Company.
“Tehran’s air is polluted and the density of particles in Tehran has decreased the air quality. However, the major decrease in line of sight in Tehran, which citizens of Tehran might have experienced it more today, was due to high humidity,” Hosseini said on the reason behind decreasing light of these days especially.
