At a time when the Syrian dictatorship is crumbling, Bashar Assad’s top diplomat Waleed Mualem travelled to Tehran to gain the mullahs’ support.
In a press conference after their meeting, mullahs’ foreign minister Ali Akbar Salehi called for efforts to maintain this criminal regime in power, saying all parties will suffer losses otherwise.
“If regional countries continue their path in the wrong direction, the consequences will definitely affect everyone,” the Iranian regime’s foreign minister threatened, “and we cannot forecast the dimensions of these consequences that will affect not only the region but the whole world.”
The IRGC’s Fars news agency also reported the Syrian diplomat meeting with Jalili, the mullahs’ High Security Council Secretary, describing him as Khamenei’s representative.
