Syria: 1 year of a nation’s perseverance with over 10,800 martyrs

Al-Jazeera reported citing the Syrian Revolution Martyrs news center the number of martyrs during one year of uprisings has reached 10,810, including 652 women and 662 children.
The number of martyrs in various provinces and large cities are as follows:
Homs = 4,509
Idlib = 1,813
Der’a = 1,162
Hama = 1,117
Rif Damascus = 993
Dir al-Zur = 391
Al-Lazeqiya = 237
Damascus = 216
Aleppo = 202
The number of martyrs increases each month, and the statistics in the last six months are as follows:
October 2011 = 576
November 2011 = 810
December 2011= 1,119
January 2012 = 1,174
February 2012 = 2,592
March (first 12 days alone) = 943
