Iranians in the Netherlands have protested outside the Dutch Parliament urging international protection for members of the main Iranian opposition group who are under threat of massacre in Camp Liberty in Iraq. The call was directed to UN and other international bodies during a rally on Saturday.
The protestors condemned the October 29 deadly missile attack on Camp Liberty, which houses members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, PMOI.
They urged the United Nations and its member states, in particular the U.S. government, to ensure the protection of Camp Liberty residents and to hold the Iranian regime accountable for its flagrant human rights abuses in Iran.
