A group of Karoon Sugarcane Industries’ workers protesting their unanswered rights staged a gathering outside the mullahs’ Majlis (parliament).
Reporting the fourth day of protests, the state-run ILNA news agency said: “These cane cutter workers with 20 to 30 years of experience, employed on contract basis, are having problems with their insurance and social security.”
