Strikes, protests clashes reported in Iran cities

Behbahan
Behbahan municipality workers are continuing their strike protesting delayed paychecks. They emphasized this strike will continue until all their demands are met.
Due to administrative corruption and inability in managing the country’s economic and financial affairs, in many cases the Iranian regime has for several months not paid salaries for workers and/or administrative employees.


Kermanshah
Due to lack of readiness to respond in time to fire emergencies, a home in the city of Kermanshah burned to the ground and a number of its residents were left injured. People of this area staged a protest rally on Saturday, January 11th, expressing their anger over the incompetence of regime officials.


Isfahan
With continued popular protests and unrests in Isfahan’s Khorasagan region, youths of this area staged an armed attack against an official by the name of Malakuti, deputy municipality chief of Isfahan’s Area 15 region. According to the people he played a serious role in harassing the public.
According to reports from inside Iran two youths on a motorcycle shot five bullets and injured the man.
