State Security Forces arrest nearly 1000 in Tehran

In a desperate measure to confront and control its various crises and create a climate of fear, the Iranian regime’s suppressive State Security Forces resorted to raiding numerous districts and arresting nearly 1000 people throughout Tehran under the mullah-fabricated charge of gangsters and hoodlums.
“This plan is being carried out in 375 neighborhoods around Tehran to confront the issues of robbery, gangsters, hoodlums and stranded drug addicts, continuing until the end of the year,” state-run media cited Tehran SSF commander Sajedi as saying. “From the beginning of this plan, to this day nearly 595 gangsters and hoodlums and 300 drug dealers have been arrested, and 1,600 homeless people have been taken off the streets.”
