The Iranian regime’s state-run Jomhouri daily wrote in its editorial: In the current conditions, discussions regarding uprisings in Arab countries are either Islamic or Arab or democratic are good for analysts. However, if government officials and those who are active in administrative affairs must not dedicate themselves to such talks because they will be left behind the pack. We must not commit the negligence that led to our northern neighbors’ dissolution in the Soviet Union in our Arab neighbors. When central Asian republics separated from the Soviet Union, we made many remarks yet Turkey and the U.S. entered the scene and took control over the economy and politics of these republics. Today, we must take action and not allow the desires Islam’s enemies gain root in the political spectrum of these countries. We are not allowed to have the negligence in the central Asian be repeated.
