According to received reports from the city of Sanandaj, western Iran, protesting youth gathered in Amiriyeh Park and chanted “Death to Khamenei”, reported Hambastegi Melli website.
 This act of protest took place on Wednesday, July 7, after a soccer game. Following this brave demonstration, suppressive state security forces stationed throughout the city in fear of the spread of anti-government protests. These forces were stationed at main roads and passages such as Ferdowsi, Sheshom Bahman and Enqelab Streets and also Freedom Square.
