The special guard of Zahedan Central Prison attacked two political prisoners who have been exiled to this prison. Iraj Ahmadi and Mohammad Amin Agushi, a teacher, were severely beaten with batons, had their hands and feet cuffed and eyes blindfolded before being transferred to ward 5 of this prison.
Currently these two political prisoners have been placed in the hall of this ward and are deprived of any basic needs.
Ward 5 of Zahedan Central Prison is known to hold mental prisoners suffering from contagious diseases such as tuberculosis and hepatitis.
