Southern Iran: 2 inmates transferred to solitary confinement for execution

According to published reports in Iran on the morning of Wednesday, June 25th, two inmates in Bandar Abbas Central Prison were transferred to solitary confinement in preparations for their executions. The names of these two inmates are:
1- Mehdi Hashemi, 24, resident of Bandar Abbas; 17 at the time of his arrest and he has been behind bars for the past 7 years.
2. Reza Sharifi, 31, resident of Rudan in Hormozgan Province; he has been behind bars for 11 years.
