A member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) in shocking remarks revealed Iran under the mullahs’ rule has become the world’s 2nd leading drug consumer.
“We are the second drug consuming country in the world,” said Dariush Ghanbari, member of the Majlis Social Commission. “This is a dangerous crisis for our country. Increasing addiction is a harsh reality that exists throughout the country today, and unfortunately we are witnessing the concerning issue of addiction growing by the day.”
“One of the country’s dilemmas on the subject of narcotics is the relevant officials’ inability to provide statistics,” he said. “They do not provide correct numbers. It changes from 1.5 to 7 million addicts around the country.”
