Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtini, Chairwoman of the US House of Representatives Mid-East Subcommittee, issued a statement expressing her opposition to the extension of the nuclear talks with Iran. She said extending these negotiations means Iran has not stuck to its commitments under the initial agreement.
Ros-Lehtinen called on the Congress to increase sanctions against Iran, adding Barak Obama has bypassed the Congress and if the president had come to the Congress before making this decision he would have received a strong no and we would have increased sanctions.
