Saudi Arabia has refused Iran’s request to hold a meeting in New York between the two countries’ top diplomats, Al-Hayat daily reported.
 
Diplomatic sources claim the Iranians wanted the meeting to focus only on the Eid al-Adha  disaster and not on regional issues such as Syria and Yemen.
