Sheikh Saleh al-Taleb, prayer leader and orator of Mecca on Friday ridiculed Iran lashing out at the Saudi government following the recent stampede during the Hajj pilgrimage, Al Arabiya TV reported.
“Those who are currently crying for those who lost their lives in Mecca are the same people who are sending militias that have killed hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Iraq, Syria and Yemen,” he said.
“By killing and criminal bombings in Mecca, transferring weapons to terrify the Hajj pilgrims, Iran has a long history of crimes in this regard,” he added.
