The Majlis, Iran’s parliament, in their session on Wednesday gave a no-confidence vote to Rouhani’s science minister, Reza Faraji Dana. According to the regime’s state TV of the 270 votes issued 145 voted in favor, 110 votes against and 15 abstinent votes.
Rouhani must now issue a new candidate for the science minister post for the Majlis to approve.
72 Majlis members were absent in this session of the regime’s parliament.
