Rouhani advisor admits to 10 million unemployed in Iran

Massoud Nili, a senior economic advisor to Hassan Rouhani evaluated the number of unemployed people in Iran at around 10million. He admitted that not only in the past 7 years have there been no job production in the country, in fact 7.3 million people have lost their jobs and piled up the unemployment population across the country. During the past decade Iran’s economy has not created even on real job, this senior economic advisor of Rouhani added.
The number of unemployed people at March 2013, meaning three months before Rouhani came to power, was at least 9.7 million, equal to around 48%. The regime’s statistics of 12% unemployment in 2005 means 2.5 million people were added to the number of those unemployed across the country.
A Middle East economic research publication had estimated the actual unemployment figures in Iran at above 40%.
