Ethnic and religious minorities are angry with the Iranian regime; Besides Sistan and Kurdistan, it is Turkman’s turn now to rise to protest against the Iranian regime, the New York Post daily wrote.
New York Post added that the story started from June 4 when an Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) gunboat killed a 20-yr fisherman named Hessamoddin Khadivar in the Caspian sea’s coastal waters. Right after propagation of this news, angry people attacked the governmental buildings and burned up its facilities. These protests continued for two days until extra security forces arrived. During these two days more than 300 were arrested and were transferred to unknown places.
These protests indicate the Iranian regime’s failure in meeting of the legitimate demands of Iran’s diverse nationalities, post concluded.
