Political prisoner Arzhang Davoudi, recently transferred Bandar Abbas Prison to Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, and from there to solitary confinement in ward 240, was recently transferred back to Bandar Abbas Prison.
On Saturday, May 3rd, he had refused to appear in court and was transferred to solitary confinement as a result. This political prisoner has during his time behind bars been completely deprived of medical treatment. Since last year he was transferred from ward 12 of Gohardasht Prison in Karaj (west of Tehran) to solitary confinement in Evin, and after 127 days he was exiled to Bandar Abbas Prison. His sentence has been finished and he should be freed but the mullahs’ regime continues to forge bogus cases against him and has extended his prison term to 20 years and 9 months.
