
Tehran: laid-off workers of Bella Shoe Factory in capital Tehran gathered outside Bank Melli on Sunday protesting their illegal discharge from the factory. Some of those employees have 22 to 28 years of experience in that factory and some have not been paid for past two years.
Shushtar: about 2000 employees of Karoon-Shushtar agriculture and industry establishment gathered for the second day on Wednesday outside the director’s office demanding their unpaid wages and salaries.

Over 1,000 students in Tehran Science & Industries University held a gathering on Sunday and by signing a petition condemned the insulting remarks made by the chair of the Education and Research Commission in Iran’s Majlis (parliament).
