Recent IAEA analysis on Iran nuclear gains raises military attack threat: Le Monde

The Paris-based Le Monde daily published an article stating: The recent analysis of the International Atomic Energy Agency on the Iranian regime’s nuclear advances has increased the threat of a military attack against Tehran.
As George Bush had told him privately upon leaving the White House, a large portion of the difficult equation Barack Obama faces in the Iranian regime nuclear dossier is directly related to the subject of war or peace in the Middle East.
At a time when the ‘reciprocal effect’ of the Syrian crisis on the Iranian regime’s loose nuclear skein makes the equation even more complex, on one hand Israel might interpret it this way that the Iranian regime’s ability and capacity to carry out counterattacks has decreased considering the departure of its Syrian ally from the scene. On the other hand for the Iranian regime, which has never been so isolated in the international and regional stage despite hosting the recent Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran, it might reach this conclusion that obtaining a nuclear bomb as soon as possible is its only way out to enforce itself as a power, therefore speeding this process.
Le Monde adds: Anyhow, the latest IAEA report published late August strengthened Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s analysis. According to him international sanctions – especially an oil embargo – has of course inflicted damages yet they “have not slowed” the Iranian regime’s nuclear activities.
On September 3rd, Netanyahu called on the “international community” to draw a “clear red line” for the Iranian regime. Following those remarks, it appears President Obama’s team is weighing the announcement of a type of deadline to the Islamic republic.
Le Monde continued in its report: Israel is calculating an air attack before the November 6th presidential elections will force the US to announce its solidarity and support it. Analysts have named this scenario as the “October surprise”.
In the middle of all this, it appears hope in “last chance” negotiations with the Iranian regime which Washington has had in mind for some time, is slowly fading away because in August the IAEA failed in its efforts to negotiate with Tehran on the clandestine aspects of its nuclear program.
