Rajavi: Only way to eliminate ISIS is to overthrow regime in Tehran

Al Arabiya, 1 July 2017 — The head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Maryam Rajavi, who participated in the Iranian opposition conference held in Paris, said that confronting ISIS requires overthrowing Tehran’s regime.
She welcomed the recent Arab American Islamic Summit in Riyadh, and said that its positions directly confront the terrorist and destabilizing actions of the Iranian regime.
Rajavi also stressed at the same time that the way to resolve the crises in the region and to confront militants like ISIS lies in the overthrow of this fascist sectarian regime in Tehran, by the Iranian people and the Iranian resistance.

Rajavi spoke about granting Iranian nationalities autonomy as a solution to the issues of these oppressed nationalities.
She also called “to include the Revolutionary Guards in the lists of terrorist organizations and their expulsion from the entire region” and to “bring Khamenei and the leaders of the regime to court for crimes against humanity, especially the 1988 massacre and war crimes committed in the region.”

Bolton: ‘No solution except regime’s overthrow’

John Bolton, the former US envoy to the United Nations, said in his speech that “there is no solution to have a change in Iran except to overthrow the regime.”
“There is a new US policy towards Iran and the US Congress is moving quickly to impose new economic sanctions on the Iranian regime,” he said.
“The Iranian regime has become a threat to the region and to the world. It wants to have a nuclear bomb,” said Rudy Giuliani, former mayor of New York and former presidential candidate.
Giuliani stressed that “the US government stands with the Iranian resistance and supports it to bring down this deadly regime.”
Newt Gingrich, former president of the US House of Representatives, stressed in his speech that “Iran must be freed from dictatorship.”
The conference was attended by parliamentary delegations from Britain and Italy, a large delegation from Albania headed by a former prime minister, a delegation of Syrian opposition leaders, personalities from Algeria headed by Sayed Ahmed Ghazali, a delegation from the Egyptian parliament and parliamentary delegations from Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia and delegations from various European countries.
