Considering the surging prices of ordinary daily necessities, the mullahs’ dictatorship is seriously concerned of popular protests. International analysts, including remarks wired by Reuters, have been speaking about the transition of this crisis into a security matter. The people of the city of Nishapur in northeastern Iran staged a protest and rally in one of the city’s main plazas and hailed “Death to high prices.”
In this protest rally which took place on the evening of Monday, July 23rd, the people of Nishabur expressed their hatred towards the regime’s officials due to high prices of food stuffs and waiting in long lines. The State Security Force units deployed to seize control of this demonstration did not dare to near the demonstrators.
The criminal public prosecutor of Nishabur threatened the demonstrators in a mocking manner by saying, “The people of Nishabur have much more dignity to come to the streets for one or two chickens and chant slogans!”
While the factions of the mullahs’ ruling Iran have banked huge amounts of money and day after day more and more cases of embezzlement are being revealed, Khamenei’s hideous public prosecutor repeated Khomeini’s pathetic slogan by saying, “We did revolt (against the Shah) for break and water, right now we are not enduring any hardship for our food.”
However, the protesters answered this devious tactics and the stationing of anti-riot forces in the region by continuing their protests.
