Protests, clashes in various Iranian cities and districts

Ahvaz:
A group of people in this city formed a human chain on Thursday, December 12th, protesting the rerouting of Karoon River waters by the mullahs’ regime. This protest rally was previously announced and the Iranian regime’s repressive forces had resorted to threats and creating a climate of fear to prevent the gathering, yet their attempts were futile. In the past month numerous such protest rallies have been held by the people of Ahvaz.

Kermanshah:
Students of Razi University chanted ‘Death to Dictator’ disrupting a session arranged for Iranian MP Ahmad Tavakoli to deliver a speech.

Aslaviye:
Over 2,000 workers of the gas company working on phases 18 and 19 in the mammoth South Pars gas field in Aslaviye went on strike for two straight days last week. This measure was held by the workers to protest not receiving their salaries for the past 4 months and enduring very harsh living conditions.

Bandar Abbas:
400 workers of the Bandar Abbas Sea Star Company, one of the firms associated to the Iranian regime’s oil ministry, have been on strike for a week protesting not being paid for the past 4 months.
