Protest, strikes by workers & farmers in 5 Iranian cities

Khoramshahr:
According to reports obtained from the southwestern Iranian city of Khoramshahr on Sunday, May 11th, the workers of the soap factory rallied in this city and called for their requests to be met. It has been 15 months that no credit has been deposited to these workers’ accounts.


Sanandaj:
Workers of the Sahand Azar staged a gathering on Wednesday, May 7th, protesting not receiving their paychecks for the past five months. The workers also protested the expelling of 30 workers from this factory.
According to other news from this city the contract workers of the Kanush construction company protested not receiving their paychecks for the past three months.


Jiroft:
A group of farmers protested low prices for their harvest. This rally was held outside the regime’s governor office where the farmers spilled their goods on the streets.


Isfahan:
The residents of Bustai Sa’di Avenue rallied against the regime’s municipality authorities. Poor conditions in this area and lack of public services were the reasons of this protest gathering.
Retired workers of the Isfahan Steel Mill Company staged a gathering on Sunday, May 11th, outside the retired workers’ center of this company and protested not receiving their pensions.


Behbahan:
The strike of Behbahan truck owners protesting the increasing price of diesel fuel continues to this day and the striking drivers are refusing to load any goods.
