INTV, 24 Oct 2013 – The families of political prisoners detained in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj (west of Tehran) protested the installation of mobile phone jamming devices in the prison that are endangering the well-being of the inmates.
According to these families, the intensity of the waves broadcasted by these devices is so strong that many of the inmates are suffering from headaches and vomiting disorders, and the physical conditions of many have deteriorated with the possibility of the inmates getting cancer.
