The prisoners of the notorious Evin Prison clashed with the torturers and suppressive guards of prison, reported VOA News on Oct. 13.

The quarrel started after the prison guards savagely attacked and insulted an elderly prisoner and the other prisoners intervened to help the elderly prisoner.

Beating up the aged prisoner caused damages to his arm, leg and back which provoked the other prisoners. The reports also indicate that in this clash four prisoners were injured who were transferred to the prison infirmary, and six others were transferred to ward 240 solitary confinement of notorious Evin Prison.
