Fifty three political prisoners in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison condemned the plan of mandatory uniforms for prisoners being sent to hospitals. Prison officials are imposing such regulations in order to refrain from sending 7 political prisoners to hospitals for medical care.
These political prisoners issued a statement warning about the consequences of such measures and negligence regarding the lives of defenseless prisoners. They also held the judicial system responsible for any physical problems that they may suffer from, demanding these regulations for mandatory uniforms to be lifted.
