Mullah Ejei, Judicial Branch Spokesperson and the regime’s attorney general, said that the criterion for political prisoners’ release is repent, according to a report by the state-run Fars News Agency. “There are those who are behind bars for security crimes, whom if express repent and remorse that is certified by a specialist team that the repent and remorse is true, will definitely be placed in the amnesty list”, said mullah Ejei, while referring to political prisoners as ‘security prisoners’.
In another part of his speech, the regime’s attorney general admitted to aiding the main elements behind huge grafts within the regime and said: The conviction procedure of the former CEO of the Saderat Bank was violated.
