Following 50 days of hunger strike, political prisoner Anwar Khezri had his demand fulfilled by being transferred to one of the halls of Ward 6 in Karaj’s Gohardasht Prison. A number of political prisoners are held in this location.
Khezri went on hunger strike in protest to the prison’s excruciating conditions and being placed in a ward with dangerous prisoners.
