A group of political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran, launched a 2-day hunger strike in solidarity with the Bafgh ore miners’ strike in the city of Yazd.
They issued a statement demanding the unconditional release of the detained workers and seeing into the workers’ legal demands.
The names of the political prisoners signing this statement are: Afshin Heiratian, Shahrokh Zamani, Khaled Heradani, Pirouz Mansouri and Mohammad Banazadeh Amirkhizi.
