Plunder of 42.3 billion dollars by central bank and 18 other banks

Following 3 billion dollar embezzlement by Regime’s officials, a parliament member said that the whereabouts of 42.3 billion dollars paid by the central bank to 18 banks for currency expenses was not known, Mehr News Agency reported.
Reiterating the fact that both the central bank and others are engaged in this infraction, Yousefian added: Based on Central Bank’s sayings, a number of banks have sold the received currency in the free market … and spent it for illegal usages.
In fact, Central Bank’s officials believe that these banks have perpetrated infractions which they don’t want to be clarified, he added.
