On Monday evening September 22nd police arrested Shakil Ghaderi a young motorcyclist in Chabahr city taking him in to the police trailer and beating him severely. Local bystanders reacted to this aggression, blocking the street and calling on authorities to respond. This event triggered the mobilization of the riot police which resulted in a clash between the people and the police. Finally it took the governor to step in and ease the tensions.
