The destruction of a Sunni mosque in Tehran by the Iranian regime has raised a wave of protests by various political parties and religious groups in Pakistan. They are calling on the Islamic world to stand against the Iranian regime and its suspicious role in the region, and stop its meddling across the Middle East.
In this regard the Pakistan Scholars Council and other political parties of this country condemned the destruction of the Sunni mosque.
Sheikh Abid al-Hamid Sari, deputy chair of the Pakistan Scholars Association said the Iranian regime speaks of unity amongst Muslims, yet it cracks down on Sunnis, murders them and destroys their mosques in Iran.
The latest such incident was in Tehran, being against all religious rituals. The entire globe is now aware about Iran’s suspicious role in the region. Instead of constructing mosques the Iranian regime is seen destroying the houses of God.
We call on Islamic nations to stage major protests in order to rein in the Iranian regime.
