
Over 2,000 workers of the Gama Petrochemical Company, including a section of the Aslaviya Phase 12 gas project in southern Iran, went on strike starting March 5th and 6th. These workers began such rallies protesting their delayed paychecks.
Simultaneously, over 1,200 workers of the phase 15 and 16 projects in the city of Bushehr staged a gathering protesting not receiving their wages for the past 6 months.
The deprived workers of Ahvaz municipality also launched a strike on Monday, March 10th, protesting the increasing working hours without increase in pay.
A group of expelled workers of the Rezvan-Shahr industrial complex production units in Gilan Province protested the closure of workshops and being laid off from work. This gathering was held outside the regime’s governor office in this town and the protesters demanding their workshops to reopen and returning to work.
