Over 200 sugar cane workers of the Khuzestan Haft Tappe Sugar Cane complex rallied outside the company’s administrative office on Wednesday, March 9th, once again demanding their delayed wages.
The angry workers blocked the road used by trucks delivering sugar canes for the mills. The protesting workers are saying it has been a few years that Haft Tappe employers are providing their paychecks and insurance pensions with delays. These workers have insisted they will continue their protest rallies until their delayed paychecks are deposited.
