Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair said in an interview with CNN that Obama’s reelection brings a great opportunity to resolve the issues of the Middle East, with Syria and Iran being among them, since Obama is deeply committed to them.
Sometimes in politics there are cases where you have more than one important issue, therefore what to do with Iran and its nuclear ambitions to acquire nuclear capability, is a very important issue in the entire region. Similar to Syria, Iran has continued to be an issue.
The international community has come to a common belief over Iran, which says it is unacceptable for Iran to have nuclear capability. Now in the upcoming months how will this issue go forward is the issue of strategic discussions between the US, Europe and Middle Eastern countries. These are countries with strong interests in this issue; especially Arab countries will prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear capability. How this is carried out depends on Iran realizing our seriousness when we say this is unacceptable. This is the right strategy to tell Iran that it has the right to decide while all options are on the table.
