NEW YORK DAILY NEWS – August 12, 2015 – A Quinnipiac University poll is showing city voters opposing President Obama’s Iran nuclear deal by a margin of 43% to 36%.
The Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday found deeper opposition among Jewish voters — with 53% opposed to the proposed pact to offer sanctions relief in return for Iran limiting its nuclear program, and 33% in support.
Democrats supported the agreement, 43% to 33%, while Republicans opposed it, 70% to 15%.
Some 40% of city voters said the deal would make the world safer, but 42% said it would make the world less safe.
