Numerous protest gatherings held across Iran

INTV, 28 Sep 2013 – A group of youths in Tehran’s Kan region clashed Basij agents intending to harass and arrest them. The Basij forces attacked the youth under the pretext of their car tape player.
On the morning of Saturday, September 28th, a group of youths gathered outside a Bank Meli branch in Tehran and protested the regime’s refusal to provide the pledged marriage loan.
Over two hundred workers of Tehran’s Behnoush Company staged a protest gathering on the Karaj special road and demanded their salaries which have been delayed for three months.
On Saturday workers of the Punel Company in the city of Pakdasht in Iran’s Kurdistan Province are continuing their strike, protesting the closure of the company and relieving these workers from their jobs. This strike began on August 31st.
Gold retailers in the city of Shahr-e Kord near Isfahan staged a rally, holding a large placard written, “We have no security”.
A number of women employees of the Payam Nour University in the city of Andimeshk, located in Khuzestan Province, staged a gathering last Wednesday protesting the regime’s pressures imposed to enforce mandatory hijab.
Parents of elementary school students in the city of Hamedan staged a rally outside the regime’s Department of Education protesting the high school fees, including the price of school uniforms.
