Norway refused to deliver speed boats to Iran

Under the framework of tightening sanctions against the mullahs’ dictatorship, the Norwegian government refused to deliver speed boats to the mullahs’ regime, reported Asr-e Iran daily
Based on a report wired by the official Egyptian news agency, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry called on the Norwegian company ‘Butserface’ to discontinue the contract of building and delivering speed boats to the Iranian regime. This Norwegian company had received an order of building 10 rescue speed boats for civilian purposes.
“The value of this contract for building 10 speed boats by the Norwegian company was worth 250 million Norwegian krones, equal to $42 million,” according to this report.
“Under the framework of UN sanctions against Tehran’s regime, Norway’s exports to Iran have faced further limitations,” Norway’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said. “All equipment with dual purposes (civilian and military) have become a cause of concern.”
